Volume Two features five articles from a variety of disciplines and topics. Two of the featured articles examine constructs of sexual activity, each taking a separate approach on the topic. Zimmerman write examines an online website for further knowledge into the sex industry, namely Sugar Babies and Sugar Daddies, where as Chatzifilalithis explores moral panic surrounding drive-in movie theatres, and how they were seen as disruptive to society. Other articles topics range from ceramic technology where Gibbon argues against the established notion that the early pottery identified was due to pre-regional influences in Upper Mesopotamia. William’s looks locally at the Waterloo region the farming technology and practices. The final article by Naomi Pearson discusses the rapid growth in the use of private military contractors and exposes the vast changes in modern warfare.
